Can you create the ultimate Suno song under the challenge conditions presented? Winners gain entry into the Web3 Metal Collab Club and a free visualizer created of the winning track.

This week’s challenge: Mosh call, breakdown, and length limit

Requirements include the genre having to be any metal or alternative genre and be 4 minutes or less. Those are the only things needed to enter - to get your entry in, include [W3MChall #1] in the title of your song and tag @shawnsporter in the Suno Discord to ensure your entry is seen and counted.

1 song per user and the song must be hosted ON the Suno sight - no post-production!

Challenge Breakdown

Mosh Call and Breakdown Clarification:

• Mosh Call: A declaration or phrase right before a metal-style breakdown.

• Hardcore/metalcore Breakdown:

  • Tempo Change: Slower tempo compared to the rest of the song.

  • Rhythm: Syncopated, choppy with heavy beats.

  • Instrumentation: Palm-muted, chugging guitar riffs; powerful, straightforward drum beats with emphasis on the kick and snare, often half-time.

  • Bass: Follows the guitar closely to add heaviness.

  • Vocals: Growls, screams, or shouted lyrics matching the intensity. Sometimes minimal lyrics post-mosh call.

Important Notes:

• Qualifying Characteristics: The breakdown doesn't need to have all these characteristics to qualify. We encourage creativity and interpretation!

• Rules: The track must be 4:00 minutes or under to be counted.
